The Localhost Residency is an experiment. A place to share and try new things. As the Localhost community continues to grow, we’re working to continue building a strong support network for artists. The residency’s mission is to provide space for artists to share their work and to pay them! Open to artists and collectives making work of any kind. We hope to expand our understanding of what can and should be considered art.

In 2022, residents are receiving a $125 stipend, a two week Instagram takeover, a month-long Discord takeover. The residency is fully-funded by the Localhost community, via Twitch subscriptions and donations!

The residency is completely virtual, taking place on Discord, Instagram, and Twitch. This allows for a wider audience to engage with the artists we collaborate with. Follow along by joining the Discord community and following on Instagram & Twitch!

Applications open once a year and are currently closed.
